Hi Guys
How about if we try this for our family letter. Remember that this is a public site, so don't put anything here you don't want the world to see.
I think this may be an easier way to keep up on news together and hopefully more current. Also, you can post at your convenience and whenever you might have news to share or things to post. I believe you can post pictures here as well if you want, but I don't know how yet.
I'm sure some of you have done blogs before, and if you have any pointers, let me (us) know.
Love you
Dave

Hey Guys look at this. I am doing it!!!! I am leaving a "comment". At least I am trying to if it works like I think/hope it will.
How funny that this just came when it did. Megan was asking me where the family letter was and why we haven't seen it in "like forever!" All I could say is I think it must be lost.
So here is my update. School is just about to start for us here. Next Wednesday it will be offical. I will have a high school student!! Can you believe it? Megan will be in 10th grade. Wow! Time really needs to slow down for me, I am so not ready for this. Ford will be in 8th, and all I can think is, that it won't be long and they will be all grown and gone. That is one thing I am NOT looking forward to. I also go back to work next week. That is sad in the fact that I won't be able to go with Chet as much as I have this summer. We are going to be taking a family vacation in Octobet. We are going with April and her family to Disneyland. I think we are all getting a little excited about our trip.
Also I finally got to go on my first airplane ride. Chet had to go up to Washington for some training and his boss was so great, and flew me up there so I could be there too. We spent a lot of time driving around taking in the sights and we rode a ferry from Bremerton to Seattle. It was totally AWESOME!!! Well, for now I guess that is all I have to say! Love you all and hope you all are well. Jana and Family
Hi Family,
I think this is a great idea. I'm much better at typing something up quickly than writing a letter although, it's always more fun to get happy mail.
Anyway, here is my update. As of July 21st Andrea and I are no longer roommates and I no longer live in Cottonwood Heights. I now live in Sandy and I really like the situation. It's a private community with trails to walk on, by a golf course (Steve, if you ever come visit it's a nice course.)and by a hidden creek that goes through the middle. I also have this incredible view of the Jordan River temple in the front yard. My two new roommates are Holly & Whitney and I like them both. It's been fun getting to know some new people and how they live their lives.
The two weeks leading up to the move on the 11th of August were...interesting. One week I got to stay with the Ruppel family and the other I got to go to St. George and play with Mom, Dad, Stephen & his family. Thanks for that!
While I was gone the auditors had come to the credit union and that only added some stress to the situation, but it all worked itself out. Beyond looking at the loan committee minutes and asking my boss some questions they left my files alone. (Let us now sing praises! I believe in Miracles)
Backing up a little bit, my trip to Hawaii was....perfect. I'm in love with the islands and I'm looking forward to going again. I'm hoping for another trip in April. I may just make it my birthday tradition. That would be schweet!
Family, I love you all. Thank you for your support, prayers and love. You're wonderful!
